RunScan – Biomechanical run analysis

RunScan is a biomechanical analysis for gait and running offered by the Julius Wolff Institute at the Charité- University Medicine Berlin. On the basis of a thorough initial examination, we extensively evaluate your gait and running characteristics using our modern analysis methods. Whether you are a patient, recreational sportsman or sportswoman, or a competitive athlete – we always adjust the analysis individually to your requirements and/or for your practiced sport.

For athletes and orthopedic patients

During the examination of your running technique, we consider the biomechanical aspects of your entire body within the context of the latest research findings. For instance, we can identify errors in your movement patterns, investigate causes of pain and injury in your musculoskeletal system, and uncover deficits in your running technique. In a final consultation, we present your specific results within an extensive report. Furthermore we provide advice for enhancing your running technique, explain supplemental strength and stretching exercises, inform you about suitable running shoes and insoles, and if necessary, provide contacts to medical partners.
